Diezel Vasile Morar is a Dancer, Choreographer, Educator born & raised in Stoke on Trent, England. Diezel has had an extraordinary journey to becoming the creative he is today. Having extensive training in acting, dancing and choreography from the age of 8, Diezels passion for perfecting his craft has allowed him to train in programs, courses, mentorships all over the world. Diezel has travelled around the UK, The Netherlands and the USA to train and follow his passion for dance.
Some of Diezels credits include- Warner Bros, Peggy Gou ‘for The F1 Movie’, Teddy Swims, Sky Sports, The Voice UK, Disney, Google, MTV EMAs, Misfits Boxing at AO Arena, JD Sports, Regatta.
Humble Beginnings
Diezel was Raised by an English mother & a Romanian dad in 2 seperate households, which brought 2 very different perspectives on life to Diezel and was what developed his love for culture, travel and a knowing that you can be anything you want to be in this life. Diezel always had a passion to perform, starting at the age of 9 at a local drama academy. The dream to become the next Hollywood acting star changed when Diezel came across music videos/ dance clips online and became obsessed with dance. This dream to dance grew and he commuted twice a week to be apart of a Hip Hop dance crew and competed around the UK at different dance competitions.
Discovering who diezel was
Diezel had many experiences which have shaped him into the artist he is today. The first major breakthrough was during his 3 years at Rare Studios in Liverpool where he got trained in many styles: Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Commercial. This was Diezel first time being taught by industry professionals. This inspired Diezel heavily and showed him that you can really make a career out of doing what you love.
From that point Diezel began to dream, he started to vision the kind of life he wanted to live and the ‘dream jobs’ he would love to experience. Then he started to take action… He began taking workshops at different dance studios in Manchester/ London from choreographers who he was inspired by and who were actively working in the industry,Began posting his own choreography online and hosting dance sessions With friends- Developing his own voice within dance. By the end of his 3 years at Rare, Diezel had established connections with a studios in his local area and was teaching weekly classes there, as well as booking his first ever professional dance job as a dancer for the Formula E Champipnships in London in 2023.But his calling for more only got louder.
The next moment that changed Diezels life forever was the decision to move to New York City. After contemplating on what his next steps were, he discovered this studio in NYC called Broadway Dance Center, and from that point he knew that’s where he was meant to be. Sept-Jan 2023 Diezel worked and worked and Saved up the money with the help from his sister Alex to be able to afford their 4 month professional semester that they offered. And in Jan 2024, Diezel packed up his bags and moved to New York City to pursue his dreams of being a Professional dancer. Those 5 months in NYC changed Diezel life in every way possible. His eyes were opened to what his life could be, he trained 5/6 days a week in nearly every style you can think of for 4 months, and was fortunate to have worked as a dancer in various music videos & live performances: working with choreographers Keenan Cooks, Neil Schwartz and Candace Brown.
Purpose
After transitioning back to England from the US, Diezel has been actively working in the industry as a Dancer/ Choreographer/ Model. He’s been blessed to have travelled around the world to perform and teach at various different dance conventions and studios.
Today his is a world renowned creative & is on a mission to impact the world and the lives of everyone he meets through his light & creativity.
